Lucky Little Story…

Henry and Rachel moved to Las Vegas from Williamsburg, VA in 2007 with their two young sons for a job transfer. With the higher cost of living, Henry began working part-time at A Little White Wedding Chapel as a minister. Rachel also began performing ceremonies and they fell in love with the business!

It was always a dream of theirs to have their own business one day, but the specific idea had never materialized. After the sudden loss of two family members, Henry and Rachel made a bold move when the opportunity presented itself and opened The Lucky Little Wedding Chapel at Casino Center in March of 2015. At first, they had one little interior suite, but decided from the first day, to conduct themselves as a high-end, 5-star business, with meticulous attention to detail.

In May of 2017, they expanded the Casino Center location again into the storefront, giving them greater visibility and more space for guest services, a full gown and tux shop, and two chapels (one seating 16 guests and one seating 26 guests).

And 2018 holds more plans for expansion with event space for larger weddings and receptions, and the expansion of photography opportunities, including glamour/boudoir and destinations!

The heartbeat of The Lucky Little Wedding Chapel is Love! Henry and Rachel love people and love what they do, and this feeling permeates everything at the chapels. They are committed to excellence with each and every guest whether the guest spends $99 or $3999. They want every wedding experience to be amazing and beautiful and memorable, because they want every guest to say, “We got Lucky in Vegas!”

Henry and Rachel’s Story

Henry and Rachel would describe themselves as hopeless romantics. For them, it was love at first sight when they saw each other across a crowded room 25 years ago. After dating for a year, Henry proposed and Rachel said yes. They were married four months later.

Starting off as a young couple, money was tight so Rachel did everything herself (bouquets, decor, etc) to save money on the wedding. Several weeks before the ceremony, as the pressure was growing, she begged Henry to just take her to Vegas to elope, to which he quipped, “No! We need to be married in the church.” Fast forward twenty years, and look who’s in Vegas doing weddings!

Lucky Little Story

Henry spends time managing the staff, addressing guest concerns, and performing ceremonies. He says his favorite part about being in this industry is the people. “I meet people from all over the world. It’s amazing! The connections we’ve made have been incredible. Some couples return every year. It’s such an honor to have a part in a couple’s special day. I love what I do.”

Rachel takes care of the aesthetics and design, business management, sales and planning, and performing ceremonies. “I love love. I’m happily married. It’s a beautiful thing to find someone and to commit to them-so to be able to share in those moments with others is such a unique honor. It’s an amazing environment. Sometimes I’m holding back tears while performing a ceremony for a couple I just met!”

Both of their sons, Michael and Noah, are also actively involved in the wedding chapel. Rachel recalls the early days when it was the four of them. “When we first opened, I worried about what people would think because they were young. I didn’t want people to question the quality of what they would get. We stressed professionalism with them. I wouldn’t let them call me mom in front of guests. Now, they could run the chapels without us!” Michael is an accomplished photographer and is expanding into custom Photography. Noah is a top-selling wedding coordinator.
